For years the Piper logo placard that is installed on the side of the fuselage just aft of the front entry door has been an eyesore. Many owners have tried to improve the deteriorating finish by hand painting them, but nothing adds that special touch to your plane like this new placard. The placard is permanently silk-screened on heavy-duty high-gloss Mylar foil and coated with a beautiful clear epoxy finish giving the logo the appearance that it is under glass. The placard is backed with a high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds to painted surfaces or bare aluminum so well that the placard does not need to be riveted to the side of the fuselage.
